Though Japanese PS3 owners will get to test their mettle in a demo for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 this week, Westerners will have to wait one more week. Tecmo just sent word that the American demo of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will officially hit on the 09/24 PSN store update.
Ninja Gaiden 2 was released last summer as an XBox 360 exclusive. Announced earlier this year, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a remake of the XBox game, using the Sigma engine. Sigma 2 will also feature new characters, missions and an all new co-op mode, exclusive to the PS3 version. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is set to release on September 29.
