グランツーリスモ５ (Gran Turismo 5 )[Ps3]

At the annual SEMA car show in Las Vegas this week, Gran Turismo 5 creative lead Kazunori Yamauchi was on-hand demoing his game for showgoers and talking to the press. Amidst a torrent of questions from Autoweek, Yamauchi roughly calculated the cost of creating Gran Turismo 5: a cool $60 million. That's what five years of development on a single game has cost Polyphony Digital thus far, an amount Yamauchi says was totally justified in order to "get it right."

"We threw away the legacy code from GT4 and started from scratch ... It's been five years from [the release of] GT4, and that's the same amount of time it took to develop the first GT4." And rather than dodging the reasoning behind the lack of a solid GT5 release date anywhere outside of Japan, Yamauchi flatly offered, "That's more depending on SCEA marketing decisions." Allow us to venture a guess – first half of 2010, perhaps?

Japan Weekly Software Ranking (Oct 26 – Nov 1)

Despite complaints about Sega’s handling of the porting, the PS3 version of Bayonetta still come out on top with more than 135,000 copies sold. Impressive for Platinum Games’ new IP, especially when added to the 64,000 copies of the Xbox 360 version. Tekken 6 start with 146,000 copies in total (12,000 for PS3 version), which is pale in comparison to the 217,000 copies the previous version sold when it was released on PS2.

ZOE3 rumors reverberate through Konami JP's headquarters

Kojima's been rather vocal on his desire to revisit the Zone of the Enders franchise. Over the past few weeks, he has spoken extensively on his blog about the failure of the franchise and his hopes to do a new Enders game.

It seems these rumors have spread throughout Konami's Japanese headquarters, and Kojima has had Konami staffers stopping him all across Tokyo about Zone of the Enders 3. Apparently, Kojima has been badgered in the office, stopped in elevators and even addressed in resturants in Tokyo. All the employee's echo similar sentiments, questioning when the production of the new game will begin or pleading to be apart of the design team. One Konami employee even has the PS2 disc stuck up in his cubicle.

Kojima has been impressed with all the enthusiam about the game, but tells all the inquirers the same thing - wait just a little longer.

Durante l’odierna SEMA Car Show di Las Vegas, Kazunori Yamauchi, presenziante all’evento, ha rivelato diversi inediti dettagli relativamente al suo Gran Turismo 5, il più interessante dei quali può senza dubbio essere considerato quello in merito al costo complessivo per la lavorazione del gioco: ben 60 milioni di dollari.
