- Enterbrain reported that the Japanese console hardware market from March 30, 2009 to Marh 28, 2010 has slightly shrunk by 6.6%, but software sales have increased by 3.7%. During the year, sales of PS3 has increased by 92.6%, but all other systems have declined in sales comparing to previous period. Here are the sales of each system:

1. NDS - 3,923,762 [30,075,728] units
2. PSP - 2,422,765 [14,227,354] units
3. Wii - 2,183,938 [10,137,092] units
4. PS3 - 1,925,429 [4,934,824] units
5. 360 - 251,911 [1,253,102] units
