Beta footage of GRIN's FF12 sequel surfaces

One of the developer casualties of 2009 was the Swedish developer GRIN. In a classic example of biting off more than you can chew, GRIN was tasked with putting out three games over the course of three months. All three games bombed commercially and critically, forcing GRIN to close it's doors shortly thereafter.

One of the projects they were working at the time they shut down was Fortress, a Square Enix-commissioned sequel to Final Fantasy XII. Concept art from the title leaked earlier this fall, and now alpha footage of the title has now surfaced on YouTube.

Though GRIN is obviously no longer working on the title, the project is purportedly still in the works at one of Square Enix's studios.
