鉄拳 6 (Tekken 6) [Ps3,Arcade,Xbox360,Psp]

EGE09: Tekken 6 Looks Almost Identical On Both Systems

You've probably heard by now that Tekken 6 looks worse on PS3 than the 360, or the 360 version has more pixels or whatever, but don't worry, the game looks great on both systems.

I had a chance to check out the game on both platforms today, side by side, and it was incredibly difficult to see any difference in quality. I thought the PS3 version had a few more aliasing issues than the 360 version, but then again that could have been due to the fact that the PS3 version was running on a much larger Sony TV screen, whereas the 360 version was running on a smaller Samsung TV. In any case, both versions looked identical to me, and the PS3 controller's d-pad made the gameplay experience a lot better than on the 360 version.

As a huge fan of Tekken and having been with the game since the series began, I could notice some subtle differences between Tekken 5 and Tekken 6. First of all, the graphics are only a little better, and are not the huge jump that I was expecting. Secondly, the contact animations i.e. the little graphic that comes up when you punch or kick someone, are more dynamic and overall make the fighting more interesting. Finally, one of the annoying things in Tekken 5 was when you fell to the ground, the ground would break, but then when you would fall in another area, that broken ground would disappear and move. A similar thing happens in Tekken 6, although this effect is far more gradual and a definite improvement.

Xbox 360 fans should be very happy to be getting the BEST fighting game series on their console, the animations are very fluid and the graphics are still very good even though they are not hugely improved from Tekken 5.
