Both versions of the Pokemon games took over the latest Japanese charts with a combined sales of 1.4 million. Edia’s popular navigating software Maplus: Portable Navi 3 make it to the Top 10 with more than 10,000 copies sold as the best version of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G continues its regular appearance until probably when Monster Hunter 3rd Portable is released :)
Plenty to look forward to next week charts as a bunch of big PSP games came out last Thursday. Konami’s Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball Portable 4 sold more than 70,000 copies on its first day according to Sinobi. Another Konami title, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Tag Force 4, sold 36,000 copies. Nihon Falcom’s great looking RPG Ys Seven made 23,000 copies, the best start for any Falcom’s PSP games so far. Apparently the game receives great feedback from those who bought it.
