Japan Weekly Software Ranking (Aug 24 – Aug 30)

Namco’s great looking fighter Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny made its PSP debut with around 30,000 copies sold on its first week in Japan. Obviously that’s not enough to topple the like of Tomodachi Collection and Dragon Quest IX: Hoshizora no Mamoribito as both swap places again to make sure DS hold on to the Top 2 spots. If you are wondering about Tenchu San Portable, the game didn’t do well as only around 6,000 copies were sold.
