E3 2009: MGS Rising Not Exclusive!!!

With E3 comes more rumors, surprises, stabbing between the three giants, and of course confusion among the announcements. When MS pleased us on stage today that had one secret weapon up their sleeve. As you may all know by now, Metal Gear will be making its way to Xbox once again.

However during Kojima’s speech it was unclear rather or not this game was exclusive to Xbox or not. G4 has cleared things up for us!

"You know, we didn't say that it was exclusive," clarified Xbox executive and corporate VP John Schappert (he was the guy hosting most of the event)

Instead they cloaked in timely and tricked us!

"We said that the next Metal Gear will be coming [to Xbox 360]," he said.

So there you have it, pretty much confirmed that this game will be coming to other platforms in some way. Even our recent report was that the game is being listed as 360 and PS3. However there is still 3 days left of suprises, including tomorrows Sony conference and Konamis conference on Wednesday. Could Kojima be showing even more details on the game tomorrow? Maybe a lead platform? Timed exclusive? Word has it, he has 3 separate titles to talk about….So stay tuned as we bring the latest E3 coverage!
